The concept
SLink is an early-stage verified-career identity layer within the wider Sanctuary employment ecosystem. Its purpose is to move career history beyond self-declared lists by creating a way for employment, roles, progression, skills, qualifications and important career events to carry verifiable evidence.
Design principles
- Evidence-weighted verification rather than treating every claim as equally reliable
- Blockchain-enabled integrity for verifiable career events and credentials
- Selective disclosure so a person can prove what is relevant without exposing an entire private record
- Sensitive personal information kept off-chain, with the verification layer separated from private underlying data
- Interoperability with Sanctuary HR as the employment and opportunity workflow layer
Role in the Sanctuary ecosystem
Sanctuary HR is designed to help people move towards opportunities; SLink is being designed to help them prove the career evidence behind those opportunities. The two products therefore address different parts of the same trust problem.
Development stage
SLink is currently at concept and architecture stage. The verification model, privacy boundaries and future ecosystem interfaces are being developed before any broader public implementation.
